Good News!!.
As of the August 24, 2009 DeKalb City Council meeting we have a signed agreement between the city and the union. This agreement does include wage freezes, but more importantly the three firefighters that were laid off will be rehired. We acknowledge the fact that this could not have been accomplished with out the help of the great citizens of DeKalb. We will still continue to strive to insure that safety of our citizens is in the forefront of everyone’s mind.
